The tour guide was exceptional! He had some fantastic stories to tell about the history of the area and they took us around some great areas with great Christmas lights! It was definitely cold, so rug up and maybe consider bringing a blanket or even a fresh hot water bottle or something (and do not forget your thickest gloves!). Overall it was well worth the freezing temperature!

I was with a group of 9 and we all got onto the top deck as promised. We were very lucky with the weather in November as it was dry and not hugely cold (just felt it in the last 10 minutes) but we really enjoyed it. It was a great way to see lots of the sights in a short space of time and the Christmas lights made it really magical. The guide was also really knowledgable and funny.

The guide was very good, full of information which was both informative and comical. The bus is vintage so quite a squash with two people sitting next to each other- we were obviously all slimmer back in the day. Whilst it says top deck seat guarantee be warned if you get there last, you may not be able to sit together. It was sad to see a family have to split up with children sitting below because the host didn’t make two people sitting alone sit together.
