We loved the London bike tour. We took the tour on our first day in London (literally just off the plane) as a way to see the city and get the lay of the land - and that’s exactly what we got! It was a great macro view and allowed us to shake off some jet lag and jot down some places we wanted to visit again later in the trip. Our 2 children (ages 9 and 10) had a great time and other than them forgetting to stay on the left side of the road 1000 times…. I felt they were completely safe cycling through the city. Adam our tour guide was great! Lots of good stories and kept the tour moving!

We absolutely loved our guide, Pat, who had a great flair for the theatrical retelling of London lore and stories. However, my advice is for the business owners to take a page out of the museum guide’s book and purchase in-ear headbuds with bluetooth transponders to be worn around the neck so that a. Everyone in the group can hear the guide tell stories regardless of background noise, b. Receive real-time directions, c. The pace of the biking can stay at the slowest person’s pace. My advice is to add 30 minutes to the tour so that a little more ground can be covered but at a slower pace since most of the folks on the tour are trying to soak in all of the sites they see which necessitates a slightly slower pace. And please, please, please, keep families with kids in the back of the pack… nothing is worse than trying to follow children on unfamiliar bikes.

My party consisted of 2 adults and 1 child. Myself and wife were a little apprehensive about Londons busy streets and the fact nether of us had risen a bike for years. The tour was one of the best excursions we've done and well worth the money. It was safe, saw most of Londons famous landmarks and our guide (Pat) was wonderfully informative entertaining.
