Start your day at Windsor Castle, one of the official residences of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Visit the magnificent State Apartments still used for state occasions and royal receptions. Take some time to explore the castle grounds and the 14th century St. George's Chapel, where you can admire one of the most beautiful examples of medieval church architecture in England.
Next, go to the standing stones of Stonehenge, still clouded in mystery as an amazing feat of human engineering. Explore the prehistoric stone circle and learn about the theories around its construction.
Continue to the university city of Oxford, known as "The City of Dreaming Spires." A seat of learning since 1249, it's an idyllic location to explore on a fascinating walking tour.

Review summary
We only had a week to enjoy the UK and this trip made our last day end with a BANG! Yes, there's a lot to pack in on one day, but it was entirely worth it. Do yourself a favor and pay for the package with the tickets because you do not want to miss your bus waiting in line. Our tour guide Nigel was exceptional and delivered good history and that famous British humor. To anyone contemplating taking the trip, just do it!

We enjoyed the day! It was nice to be able to get on the bus and not stress about driving in another country. The bus has USB ports at each seat to charge phones which was nice. We had Lesley as our guide and Paul as our driver and what a team they are! It seemed as though they loved showing us around. Lesley was very knowledgeable and had a lot to tell us about everywhere we went! I will say, we did feel a little rushed at Windsor Castle, so if that's a place that you feel you want extra time at you should look into another tour. But for us personally it didn't take away from the day! We chose to not grab the offered Audio Tour and walked through the state rooms without listening. They give you time at each place but you're responsible for finding your own lunch. So, if you want more time at the sites, I would recommend packing some sandwiches and snacks to have on the bus so you don't have to worry about finding lunch and missing out on wanted time at each place. BRING RAIN COATS!
