Depart London by luxury mini-coach on an 11-hour Downton Abbey tour. Stop at Yew Tree Farm (Cogges Manor Farm) to see filming sites used throughout the TV series. Continue to the Swan Inn at Swinbrook, location of one of the series' most controversial story lines. Next stop is in Shilton, a Cotswolds village inaccessible to larger coaches. See the old stone footbridge, duck pond and the old pump and well, before the short journey to Bampton (Downton village). Head to Highclere Castle, home to the Grantham family in the series. Enjoy the gardens before entering the castle. Take a guided tour of the castle’s opulent rooms. There will also be time to take in the Egyptian exhibition.

We had Tony as our Tour Guide he was amazing. His knowledge and sense of humour. He really made our trip but if you don’t get Tony you must include the Tour with a visit to The Farm, The Cotswold and the Castle. It was worth every extra dollar spent.

Nice small group tour. We realized we prefer smaller groups and booked this one after we had an exhausting large group tour with another company. Even though the van does not have a bathroom, the guide and driver are very considerate to stop when needed. The guide was great and the day was relaxing. Seemed expensive, but probably because we just came from Munich where tours were less in general. I suppose the price matches the demand in London.

The tour was just what I expected and I was very happy with the way the day unfolded. The weather wasn’t the best but the day was lovely and nothing could take that away. The Cogges farm visit was brilliant. There was much to see and the gardens were lovely. Highclere House is stunning and worth the visit alone. I was just happy to wander through the castle and actually be in the same place where many Downton Abbey scenes had been made. Our driver was excellent and tour guide Toby was very good. Highly recommend a small tour as it allowed us to visit some places that larger coaches couldn’t access.
