We enjoyed this cruise down the Thames very much. The boat was comfortable and clean with toilet facilities and also refreshments if required. The crew were courteous and friendly and helpful on boarding and disembarking to those who were not so agile. The commentary was funny and engaging and was also very informative, which made the trip very interesting. We loved it and next time we visit London, plan to do another cruise, just for the fun of it.
Dan provided an outstanding cultural and historical tour of Wales through his witty humor and vast knowledge of the area. We enjoyed soaking up the scenery from picturesque back country lanes to villages bordering the sea, castles, manor houses, and quaint market towns. Dan was not only our guide, but a new found friend!! It’s a tour we’ll never forget and will cherish always.
I was expecting to see buildings like in the picture used to advertise this tour. Never saw anything like that. Wish this wasn’t a big bus tour. We weren’t able to sit together and couldn’t see anything from bus seats as guide was pointing things out.
Really enjoyed the tour. Seeing London by night gives a whole different perspective to the city. Sarah was an excellent interpreter. Just a piece of advice, bring some warm clothes as it can get chilly on the upper deck at night. Thoroughly recommend!
Phil Bennett was out guide - well informed, professional, helpful and fun. The tour was comprehensive, but Phil made it interesting and complete. His knowledge helped fill in the gaps of knowledge of the group. The Churchill exhibit was outstanding!
