What People Are Saying About London
Our day at Waddesdon was unforgettable, and we could not have had a friendlier, more accommodating guide. My mother and I send our thanks once again for a wonderful day.
We really loved the Tower of London. The title seems deceiving but it is more than a "Tower!" It's a mini village! The history is unreal and the "Beefeaters" are walking history! it is a must to take their tour! They are charismatic and full of England History! They are smart and very loyal to England- much respect for them. Get there early (at least the first hour of opening) to avoid the long lines and crowds. If you order your ticket prior online go to group sales before to collect your actual with a bar code! Because the gate/security check will send you right back (coming from experience) thank goodness we were there early and it wasn't bad! We loved this historical site- very well worth it!
Thank you for such a good tour which takes in Cotswolds villages with so much charm and time to explore. Blenheim Palace is truly magnificent. Wish there had been more time in each place.
The guide was very knowledgeable and looked out for everybody in the group to ensure we gained access to BP, and that the audio guides worked and met us promptly at the end to take us on to the second part of the event where she ensured we were settled before leaving.
Once we had passed through security, we were given headphones, which gave a clear commentary on various rooms in the Palace and of what we would find there. The Exhibition was wonderful. Personally I would have liked to stay longer and fully appreciate the grandeur of the rooms. Time was a factor in my choice of tour. The Hotel Rueben's made us welcome and provided us with a very enjoyable Afternoon Tea.
