Hiking through Theth to see the Blue Eye was an unforgettable experience. While the hike was a bit challenging for us as beginners, our guide, Ilir, truly made the difference. He was incredibly attentive, adjusting the pace to suit our group’s abilities and ensuring everyone felt comfortable along the way. What made the experience even more engaging was Ilir's knowledge of the region. As we drove through Albania’s stunning landscapes to reach Theth, he shared fascinating insights into the country’s history and culture. The small group size allowed us to enjoy the hike without feeling rushed, and the lack of crowds meant we could fully appreciate the stunning scenery in peace. It was a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, with breathtaking views at every turn. Another thing that I liked is how Ilir also enjoyed the hike alongside us.
We spent a day hiking in Theth to the Blue Eye. It was early November. The weather was beautiful. The mountains were painted with the colors of autumn. The landscape is fabulous and it was definitely worth walking 2 hours to admire this natural site. Llir, our guide, was very cultured and friendly and we had a lot of fun talking about Albania. I highly recommend this activity.

Incredibly beautiful locations and a walking route to the waterfall) The guide took photos for us and stopped if there was a need to take photos.
