Parked at Clansman Hotel no trouble and used underpass to get down to harbour.Gave our name to ticket office and waited for our timed departure of 11 am.We departed on time and we sat upstairs as it was nice weather.Whole cruise was great and lasted about 55 minutes which was just enough, thoroughly enjoyed our time on Loch Ness and we learnt a lot about the area and its history, thank you.

When arriving at the clansman hotel we were directed to a subway/underpass (of sorts) to cross the road which brought us out beside the Loch and jetty. There was a small shed with window to serve and a young man took our names and told us the procedure for boarding and mask etiquette. Once safely on board with many other tourists there was another safety announcement and then the tour began. For the entire ride there was a running commentary which on the way covered facts of the Loch and Urquhart Castle which we came very close beside. The commentary covered science and legend and all those who claimed to have seen the monster. Inside the boat was ample seating and a coffee station (Costa) with alcohol also availabl. There was a display of the radar readings for motion and depth. On the return journey we were treated to tales of Kings and wars which took place surrounding the Loch and mountains. We were told of witches tales of legend and the only bad thing was certain other guests.

Very interesting audio on board tells u all history and boat takes u close to Urquhart Castle for good photo opportunities. Sonar screens below deck to see any shapes below surface or on loch floor. Children any age can go and dogs ! Crew polite and friendly. Can be colder on water so take a jacket just in case.
