Would thoroughly recommend the 50min trip to Urqhart Castle and back. Great views of the Loch and castle plus the benefit of a bar and friendly staff who are happy to share a story or 2. We took a trip along the Loch during winter and had fun despite the cold and rain thanks to Peter and the crew for entertaining our very active 7 yr old!

We had limited time as we arrived in Inverness in the afternoon and couldn't do a longer or morning tour. This trip was a perfect way to get onto Loch Ness and enjoy the scenery. The dog was allowed too, and he gave the trip a big waggy tails up. It was a freezing fog day in Inverness but the fog lifted, and the sun came out as we headed out from the quay.

Lovely visit to the Loch and amazing scenery. The cruise boat is really nice and good on board facilites! They say take cash but they had a card machine for the Costa coffee and on board bar! Beware it is quite a long way from inverness so costs a lot in taxi to get there and back: maybe best book the longer trip with transport from the city bus station.
