From Seville: Granada Day Trip with Alhambra and Albaicín

Depart Seville and journey to the city of Granada to take a tour of the historic Alhambra, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural importance and architectural beauty. Benefit from the services of an official tour guide and expert interpreter of the heritage of the city and fortress, built for the Nasrid emirs who ruled Spain in the 13th and 14th centuries. Marvel at the fortifications of the Alcazaba (citadel), built to protect the city's post-Roman districts, including the Moorish suburb of "El Albayzín." Admire the beauty of the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife, the summer pleasure gardens of the Emir. Next, drive to the center of Granada for lunch (own expense). Then, take a guided walk of the UNESCO-protected Albaicín district where the winding streets are reflective of its Medieval Moorish past. Stroll past whitewashed houses and encounter age-old churches and flower-filled balconies. Stop to take in the spectacular panoramas over the Alhambra fortress perched on its hill.  Return to Seville at the end of your historical adventure, and get dropped off at your original starting point.

Had a delayed start to the trip because of issues with the bus. They were over 2 hours late picking us up. So we didn’t get to spend more time in Albaicín. But definitely worth seeing the Alhambra. I hope the travel company learns from this mistake. I felt bad for our tour guide María Teresa she was greeted with some disgruntled people but was very nice. She still had a very positive attitude with all the things that went wrong. It was an off day but we still made the most of what we had. I would still recommend them.

Good. I think that excursions are very subjective because apart from the means of transport and the organization (which were good), everything else is done by the people you interact with (guide and driver) and if they manage to involve the visitors it becomes an excellent day to remember and fortunately our guide was a very good professional and knew how to relate. Dris was an incredible your guide. I brought my mom who is hearing impaired and he was so kind to her. He stayed close to her to ensure she could hear, he walked with her and even wore her special microphone that connects to her hearing aids. It was a really special day and a wonderful tour thanks to Dris.

Our guide had an excellent knowledge base, very friendly, super nice person. He demonstrated at all times great effort in dividing his presentation into Spanish and Portuguese.

Extremely well organized tour with knowledgeable guides
