Depart Amsterdam and journey by bus to explore the seat of power in the Netherlands in the elegant city of The Hague, where highlights include the royal Noordeinde Palace and the government buildings of the Binnenhof. You will meet your guide by the spectacular new gate of Rotterdam, the recently built Central Station. On this 2.5-hour private walking tour, you will be introduced to the history and the character of this port city, as well as the chronology of its post-war reconstruction. You will first enjoy a walk through the city center where you can get acquainted with the architectural icons and national monuments such as the Groothandelsgebouw, the Lijnbaan shopping area, the neo-classical City Hall and the contemporary Timmerhuis. Seeing the harbor was interesting and educational. One note: The audio track was late relative to our position. It took a little while to realize, but when one feature was mentioned, I realized we had already past that point.

Very cold when you’re on deck but a great way to see Rotterdam in one go and also to make a list whilst on board to see where and what you want to see
