This was a great trip with a very friendly and prompt guide. Pickup was easy and the journey was pleasant. We were given plenty of free time to do whatever we wanted and this was enough to everything. Our guide offered the option to be driven up to the castle if we preferred. Most people however chose to walk themselves up to the castle. With this in mind my only suggestion would be to drop the entire group at the castle first before it gets busy which would allow the full duration of the time there to be ‘free time’ without the worry to be back at the bus to be driven up at a certain time. This then would allow for more time on the off season to get the boat to the island as they’re only every hour and therefore needs to be timed. Great excursion! Make sure you do it!

Before concluding your day, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque lakeside promenade. Admire the swans gracefully gliding on the crystal-clear waters and take in the views of the surrounding mountains.
