What people are saying about Liwu River

This was an amazing tour, made even greater by our awesome guide Alan Chou. Alan had tips on everything, from suggested lunch/dinner options, to number of steps we were likely to encounter at each attraction, to regular, clean, bathroom stops (very important for me approaching 60 years old!), setting up a little birthday celebration and basically just personalising the whole experience. He had personal photos that he had set up before each attraction showing how everything worked, education sessions that were so informative, and photos of his family visiting the same attractions - now this really personalised everything! And then there was the tour itinerary itself that did not disappoint. And staying in 5-star hotels was an added bonus. All in all, if you want a quick flavour of Taiwan away from Taipei, this is your tour. I'm sure the other guides are just as competent, but if you book - ask for Alan Chou as your guide, and tell him I sent you!

The tour of the island is very well organized, the visits are interesting, mixing cultural and historical interest, magnificent landscapes, the hotels are very good, the pace of the tour is perfect, the guide Alan is great and the driver is very careful and very friendly. We had an excellent time and were seduced by Taiwan, a great discovery thanks to this organized tour. We recommend this tour.

The itinerary is well organized, with a balance between being comprehensive but not too tiring. The 5-star hotels were very comfortable, with an excellent breakfast. The guide was very helpful, giving valuable suggestions about local cuisine. The information was well prepared and given in a timely manner, with no question left unanswered.

Unbeatable value. Great tour guide, amazing hotels, and hit the highlights of Taiwan.

Peter Lee, our guide, was great, attentive and informative
