Inside, the incredible tiles by Pedro Pinto, dating from 1929, depict the story of Setúbal’s agricultural and fishing activities. Find a variety of fish, fruits, vegetables, and aromatic herbs. Enjoy some samples from local producers. The Convent of Jesus In the heart of the city is the illustrious Convent of Jesus dates back to the 15th century (1490). It was the first convent of Manueline architecture and one of the few that survived the 1755 earthquake.
