Victoria Falls is an iconic safari destination where you can fill your days with big game safaris, thrilling adventures and one of a kind cultural experiences. Most of our activities centre around the region’s main attractions: the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. At full volume, the waterfall flows at 700 000 cubic metres per minute, sending up billowing clouds of spray which can be seen for up to 50km away. It’s from here that the Victoria Falls gets its local name - Mosi-oa-Tunya, ‘The Smoke That Thunders’. The largest falling sheet of water in the world, Victoria Falls is perched on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. On the Zimbabwean side, you can walk the winding paths through the rainforest, which reveals a classic, postcard-perfect view of Victoria Falls. On the Zambian, meanwhile, the Knife Edge Bridge takes you exceptionally close to the cascading waterfall and down to the Boiling Pot - the huge whirlpool at the base of the Falls.
