WoW! Great experience. I have done helicopters, hot air ballons, airplane experiences but this may take the cake. So unique. The only way to see victoria falls and a flying safari all in one. Highly recomment!

Full description

Take an incredible microlight flight over the Zambezi River and admire the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding National Parks. Keep your eyes peeled for a host of exciting game sightings, and shortly after takeoff, enjoy breathtaking views as you circle over the magnificent Victoria Falls. Choose between a 15-minute flight or a 30-minute flight.

The shorter version is an exhilarating flight over the Victoria Falls, the islands near the Falls and thundering Zambezi River. Gaze in awe at the breathtaking views of the Falls and the spectacular gorge that the Zambezi River has carved into the surrounding landscape over many thousands of years.

The longer version flies along the Zambezi River, circling the Victoria Falls and flying over the Mosi oa Tunya National Park. End the experience with a low-level swoop over the National Park to spot wildlife and birds. After your flight, the microlight will land and drop you off back where you started from.

Fantastic. Pickup was easy, 5 minutes to the airfield from the Radisson Blu hotel, where we stayed. Anton, the pilot, took me on a river flight safari upstream of the falls, overhead a myriad of islands and passing right by the hotel, saw buffalo, giraffe, rhino, zebra, hippo and crocodiles, plus a whole menu of birds, including storks, egrets, several herons species (with a special low level flight past a Goliath heron), sacred and hadada ibis, plovers, lapwings, jacanas and cormorants. We even joined a committee of cape vultures as they began their rise on the early morning thermals. Beautiful views downstream to the falls ( I chose not to fly over the falls as I had already done so in the helicopter) and Anton even took some closeup photos of animals from his GoPro. Highly recommended.
