Full description
Embark on a magical mystery tour and see how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to dizzying heights of fame and fortune from humble childhood beginnings. Replicas of the Casbah, Mathew Street and The Cavern authentically capture the early 60s, allowing you to experience firsthand the very places that helped make The Beatles the biggest band in the world. Hear the story unfold through our ‘Living History’ audio guides available in 11 different languages (English, Brazilian-Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Polish, Russian and Spanish). Let all this take you down to the Beatles Story.  In 2018, The Beatles Story celebrates 50 years since The Beatles travelled to India with the launch of a special exhibition. ‘Beatles In India’ looks at this key period in time with new memorabilia, imagery and personal accounts from people who were there with them.

Having grown up with the Beatles playing in our home, I absolutely loved this museum. It was fascinating and even though I thought I already knew a lot about them - I learnt so much more. For me, it was well worth the money. You could go round at your own pace and listen to the personal audio tape through your headphones. At the end of the tour there was a gift shop where you could buy some memorabilia. All the staff were lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Beatles story it was so informative. All aspects of how they began to splitting up. We loved the replication of the Cavern Club and history throughout. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed a drink in the cafe before visiting the gift shop. Well worth the trip and more than likely visit again in the future.

I do not like audio tours. I misread the booking details before I purchased tickets and did not realize it was an audio tour. Although the headphones were clean, they were not comfortable. It is challenging to keep up with the audio. The sections are labeled with numbers to allow you to hear the tour in chronological order but locating the numbers is difficult as they are tucked away in some exhibits in the museum. I would recommend this tour to my friends and family because it is a neat museum. It is a fun activity to do even if you are not a Beatles fanatic.
