My daughter and I were in Liverpool and she had never been on a ferry or boat. Perfect first experience ! Easy to book, very organised . It was a cold day but didn't spoil the experience just wrapped up warm. Nice hot chocate as we stood and looked at the sights whilst we were given the history of Liverpool. We really enjoyed it, well worth the money for just the memories alone.

Everything was well organised, it was easy to book either online in advance, or book on the day. All health and safety measures were taken care of, if you required warmth then you could stay on the lower deck, with a heated window area, or for more adventurous tourists there was the upper deck, without windows and there were seats actually on the deck. We decidedon the seats on the deck, it was a bit chilly, so make sure you wear warm clothes, we went in February, so you can imagine the cold. There was a cafe for snacks and drinks, on the upper deck, and as you were sailing around, there was information being given on the speaker about the various buildings and history of the area. All in all an enjoyable experience for all the family.

Never been to see the historical side of Liverpool before and this was the ideal opportunity as we had decided to stay for two nights at the Titanic Hotel. For the price I would wholeheartedly reccomend the trip on the mersey which lasts 50 minutes and worth every penny. The weather was atrocious but this didn't detract from the views of the city. Take your kids on a memorable journey or just go yourself or with some friends.
