Full description

Leave the music city of Liverpool and travel to Wales on a 90-minute, fully-narrated journey arriving at Llandudno. Visit the 12th-century hidden chapel of St. Tudno on the Great Orme.

Next is the walled town of Conwy, constructed in 1283 with a fabulous 3/4-mile wall circuit. Go inside Conwy Castle (not included), a gritty, dark-stoned fortress built by James of St. George in partnership with Frenchman Richard The Engineer.

Afterward, head to Snowdonia National Park using carefully-selected, off-the-beaten-track routes with a stop at the so-called “capital of North Wales,” Betws-Y-Coed prayer house in the woods.

Finally, take the unique opportunity to experience the Pontcysyllte Canal Aqueduct, built by Sir Thomas Telford between 1795 and 1805. Prepare to be entertained and informed by your experienced guide and driver along the way.

Started the day with the guide being 30 min late, due to the snow but we got no info about her being late. Although the day was super nice! Conwy castle amazing and plenty of time to explore. Snowdonia 11/10, would wish for more time than 30 min. The last stop in a small village for 1 hour wasn’t anything special, would rather spend more time at Snowdonia then. Overall a good day :) guide driving us safely and giving good information about everything!

Highly recommended. We had a fantastic time in North Wales on board with Frank our guide for the day. It was a chance for us to see and walk along other interesting places outside of the city such as mountains, hills & countryside. We were lucky that day as the weather was really good ! Frank has been a great and interesting guide with a great sense of humour. We learnt so much that day ! This was the first time using Busybus and we will definitely be using it again.

This was one of the best trips I have done in the UK. North Wales should be one of the top priority list if you like country side. I liked the snowdonia national park journey which reminded me of Switzerland. If you are bored of the city life this one is a just a perfect weekend getaway trip.
