What people are saying about Liverpool
Never gave Liverpool a second thought until I married a diehard Liverpool fan. I support Sunderland afc(for my sinns haha).Anyway, due to being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer with a rubbish prognosis I wanted to visit certain places with hubby and 2 oldest sons.i.e Anfield. I must say it was absolutely fantastic - better than Goodison Park! Lol! Better than Stamford Bridge.I was there a couple of weeks before. Now it's became a thing to visit as many premier league stadiums before i get too poorly.Anfield by far was something else. The staff were really friendly, security on the car park was fab,had a bit banter with him.We were worried about where to park and he was like no problem just come in.I love everything about Liverpool, the fans, the player's etc.So much passion.Watching the projector screen at the new stand and then walking out to see the stadium, from that height aswell was just stunning.
The only fault with the beatles story is their marketing. You don't get any idea from the website or promotional leaflet just how good this exhibition/museum of all things "beatles". The experience far exceeding both mine and my partner's expectations. The quantity of original material and the scope of what is covereed are truly awesome.
We had Tony as our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic! He has so much knowledge about the Beatles and Liverpool in general as well. He was a delight to take the tour with and it’s the best tourist attraction related to the Beatles that we’ve ever had. Recommend to everyone.
Excellent tour. Guide was very knowledgeable about the city of Liverpool as well as the Beatles. He kept us entertained with his wit and humour as well as his wealth of knowledge. Would definatley recommend this tour.
