Joao are driver and guide is a lovely guy and very knowledgeable. He took us to some lovely places and we certainly saw a lot of the lovely Arrabida region. We had expected to be in an 8 seater minibus but instead were in a small car which was a tight fit for the 4 of us. It wasnt Joao's fault but the wine tastings & tours werent of great quality. I love the Setubal wines and wanted to introduce my friends to them but the wines we tasted were far from the best of the regions output. I think if you want a wine tour then it would be best to agree a date with a guide and then approach the wineries yourself to arrange an itinerary The other little note is that we were taken to a Fish restaurant which was not good and which was very over-priced, again I would check before the tour as to what the lunch arrangements are and ask to see some options so you can check online before the day Joao is a lovely guy and would doubtless be flexible and helpful in arranging such a tour for you

Superb experience! I recommend to all this visit if you want to know a bit more about the culture of this wonderful country! All the places, order and all facts shared were carefully determined with the objective to allow us to deep dive on the past, present and future of Portugal. André was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Portuguese history, food, wine, and culture. For anyone wishing to experience the best that Portugal has to offer, I cannot recommend the Sesimbra and Arrábida tour enough; it will introduce you to some of the hidden gems of the greater Lisbon area and show you how welcoming the country can be.
