Such a magical and beautiful day! We, Black Girls Travel Club UK, had the pleasure of having Emerson as our guide across Sintra. He picked us up promptly and began the tour with facts about our journey between Lisbon to Sintra whilst providing an itinerary for the day. Having only lived in Lisbon for a year it was still evident that Emerson was highly knowledgeable about the city's history, landscape and political climate. Our day in Sintra we started off with some sightseeing and recommendations of local pastries which we absolutely loved! The rest of the day felt like pure magic as Emerson guided us throughout Sintra, the castle, the lighthouse and more. It would have been ideal to have the cost of Castle entry factored into the guide however the recommendations for lunch and dinners across both Sintra and Lisbon made up for this. Sadly due to the possible fires, all the palaces in Sintra were closed and we were not able to enter. But Sarah took us to a few bonus spots including Boco do inferno and Praia das anenhas do mar which were incredible and made up for it. Highly recommend the tour

Overall it was a good trip. Sarah provided good details on the history and showed us many places. It was a bit stressful in the morning because she had to pick up some people from their hotel, and its not easy to find parking in Lisbon. However, as the day passed, we enjoyed the time together. The tour was in two languages, English and French, and I think should have been avoided. Sarah did her best. However, she did not give the space to ask questions as she had to switch languages. Overall, all of us enjoyed the trip and we were happy in the end.
