What to Expect
Crossing the “25 de Abril” Bridge you arrive in Palmela. Your guide will show you the castle and Palmela town, whose stones hold historic memories dating to pre-history. Enjoy the traditional local sweet, torta de azeitão, along with a delicious cup of coffee.
Come and see a Mediterranean windmill on a guided tour and sample fresh hand-made, organic bread in the shade of a dense arbour. After that, experience the clean and gentle waters of the Atlantic Ocean. You are invited to discover the Serra da Arrábida, a protected area with its shades of green, its Mediterranean fauna and flora and its dazzling views between the sky and sea.
