Full description

On this full-day tour, you’ll discover Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the town which is surrounded by an amazing natural park, a medieval Castle, and beautiful Palaces and Chalets. Take a walk along the medieval streets of Sintra and drive through the national park noticing the rare fauna, the unique trees, the Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace, and the several chalets along the road. Visit Pena Palace, one of the most impressive architectural expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world and one of Portugal’s seven wonders. Say goodbye to Sintra with an optional visit to mystical Quinta da Regaleira, a palace surrounded by luxuriant gardens, lakes, caves, and enigmatic constructions that hide obscure alchemist meanings, evoked by Freemasons, Knights Templars, and Rosicrucians. Continue on to the westernmost point of continental Europe at Roca Cape. Travel along the coast and embrace the Atlantic, stopping in Cascais, once a holiday retreat for the royal family and the European aristocracy. Enjoy all these amazing places from a comfortable seat in a small air-conditioned minivan. Pickup and drop-off at your hotel or apartment in Lisbon make for an even more pleasant experience.

Great tour! We got a bit tired, as the tour took much more time than we expected. In addition, at the back of the vehicle was not very spacious. However our guide is really dedicated and knowledgeable. We fully enjoyed the day. If we hadn’t joined the tour, we could’ve not visited as many places. Thank you very much.

If you’re crunched for time and want to visit a few must-visit places in Lisbon, then would definitely recommend this. Overall, the trip was quite good. There were a couple of people who were late/didn’t turn up for the trip, because of which we were slightly delayed. Apart from that, it was a great day. Got to visit Sintra, Cascais, and Cabo da Roca all in one day. There were a couple of things that could’ve probably made the trip better, but I would still recommend going through this experience if you want to visit these three locations in one day. It would’ve been nice to have some more time to go around and explore at each of the stops. Also, there was a bit of confusion with organising tickets to go in to Pena Palace, so would’ve been nice if this was in place too. The tour guide was a very nice person and had great information about Lisbon and the locations where he stopped at. He was a bit loud and brash though, but I’m not complaining about it; just letting everyone know.

Our guide Andre was an absolute legend. A real character, very funny and knowledgeable and the journey was very comfortable. We learned lots and had a good laugh at the same time. The trip itself is great as you see some of the best sights and Andre ensured we missed the worst of the queues with good planning. Good length stops which allowed us to explore a bit without feeling rushed. Thank you
