Gui was our guide and you can tell he LOVES Lisbon! Not only did he know all of the amazing history of his city he also took us on an adventure via Segway up and down the city streets. We got to see so much more on a Segway than we ever could have on foot. Thank you Gui!!! Definitely a fun experience for a family! Once you get over that you look ridiculous on a Segway, the fun begins as you zip by hot and tired people walking. 😄

Our guide, Peter was so lovely and so patient with us. He told us the history of the place in such an interesting manner and the segways made it even more fun. I must suggest that as Alfama is so uphill and downhill that touring it through segways or ebikes is actually a better idea than doing it on foot. Overall an amazing experience.

Alfama still retains features from its medieval Moorish past, with narrow maze-like streets, steps and arcades. Navigate your way through a steep labyrinth of winding alleyways. At the core of Alfama, a vibrant community remains in touch with the lifestyle of Old Lisbon. Many poets and Fado songs were inspired by the liveliness and constant energy of this district. Segways are safe to use, easy to learn, and fun to ride. We offer a thorough training session from our certified guides before we begin the tour.
