It felt all hasty. I think the description of what to expect of the day needs to be more specific. Guide tried to talk us out of entering Pena, which was the highlight of the day after we were adamant, and lines for tickets were not bad at all. He did give info, but ultimately it felt more like a taxi for the day, as it was all a drive by of the sights.

Tomas was a great tour guide. He picked us up and was even outside early. Tomas is very well spoken and knows a lot about his Portuguese history and culture, and is very excited to share it. We had booked two sites to visit, and Tomas was very organized with getting us on time to both sites. He altered the tour when needed and was quite accommodating. I cannot say enough nice things about Tomas. He is great!

Alex is a very nice guy and gave us extensive information about the history of Sintra and its palaces. We enjoyed the views and walked around Pena palace. Then he took us to Cabo da Roca (fantastic views!) and to Cascais, where we had a nice lunch. Alex is very forthcoming and knowledgeable. The only thing we would have appreciated is to be accompanied by him on our sightseeing... he always stayed with the car. On the other hand, as parking is not always easy, that might have been necessary.
