Full description
Relax in the company of other LGBT travelers on a 4-hour walking tour of Lisbon, and learn the history of the Portuguese capital in a gay-friendly environment.

Make new friends from around the world as you set off from the statue of King D. José in the Terreiro do Paço plaza (Praça do Comércio). Destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon Earthquake, the square was completely rebuilt as part of the construction of the Pombaline Downtown.

See most of the historic quarters in a single afternoon, without rushing. Your guide will explain the history and local habits of the city, combining views of majestic architecture with stories of everyday life. Enjoy plenty of opportunities to take a break, and stop at a terrace café for a drink. This will be the perfect moment to chat and get to know your fellow travelers.

Stroll the emblematic streets of districts such as the Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest area, and site of many of its fado bars. Go to the grid like streets of the Baixa, and see the Pombaline squares of the Rossio district. Along the way, savor a shot of the typical local liqueur, ginginha, made by infusing ginja berries in alcohol and adding sugar along with other ingredients.
