Having not gone dolphin watching before, I have nothing to compare with, but I really enjoyed this boat trip. Seth and Sid were professional and helpful and copied with a multilingual body with no problem. The boat was a rib with twin outboards, and you straddle padded benches, so it's easy to keep your balance while taking pictures. We found plenty of dolphins, which leaped around and beside the boat. They are quite hard to photograph as you do not always see them underwater before they break surface, and you find yourself taking many pictures of just water where they just dived back in. A fun challenge. We also saw birds. mainly gannets, graceful in the air and dramatic when they dive. Also skua and some others. We coasted slowly back past the riverside monuments, Belem Tower etc, getting excellent views of them, amidst a local yacht regatta and laser + oppy dinghies. The trip lasted almost 4 hours, and I was a bit cold at the end. I should have put more clothing under my anorak!
This experience is a must do for all, especially those that love history and picturesque views and architecture! We had Andrè Feldman as our guide, who is extremely knowledgeable in all areas, but more importantly, is super fun to be around! He definitely got a thumbs up from all of us that were on the tour! And as a added bonus, got some great snaps of us that he then sent to our WhatsApp after the tour, that's definitely going the extra mile for his customers! The tour was so chilled and relaxed, that we just had so much fun with it and felt zero stress!
Our guide Tanya was helpful and personable, making this an enjoyable day. The minivan was clean, modern and in good condition. The locations were photogenic, and, with Tanya's input, interesting. We departed the schedule by having a longer lunch in Sesimbra than expected, but this was no problem. The wine tasting was enjoyable, and the wines reasonably priced to buy. A good day, recommended. All reasonable covid precautions were taken.
The process was very quick and efficient that e-ticket was issued after purchase. It is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid line ups. The experience was seamless and amazing but be prepared to do lots of walking if you want to explore the whole entire park and palace. Definitely a thumbs up!
