Roll around the Old Town of Lisbon on a futuristic Segway, tasting typical Portuguese delicacies along the way. Despite looking hard to control, Segways are actually surprisingly easy and fun to ride. Your guide will give you a short instructional session and then you’ll head off to Portugal’s oldest district, Alfama.   Your tour starts at Ribeira de Naus, where many old Portuguese ships were built. See the old shipping dock where people and goods entered and left Lisbon during the Age of Discovery. You’ll also explore this district’s most authentic cafés and restaurants, which serve traditional cuisine and plenty of hospitality. Here, taste some of the most famous Portuguese tapas, like a codfish pastry, a roasted Portuguese sausage (chorizo), and cheese and honey with bread and sardines. All of this will be accompanied by a local red or white wine.   To finish your experience, taste a famous pastel de nata (custard tart), and try Ginginha, a traditional sour cherry liquor.
