Just the perfect introduction to Lisbon! Helena is a story-teller and the most knowledgeable of food guides: a true foodie with a wealth of knowledge about the tastes and traditions, and the history of the region. The foods she had us try were thoughtfully selected and combined and so delicious. The best way to get to know a new city!
This was the favorite thing that we did in all of Portugal. Eva was an incredible guide with so much charisma and she was such a great storyteller and she was just perfect for this tour. We loved all of the food and our kids were just amazed by the fact that you could go place to place and learn fun things about the country and eat different kinds of food. We decided we should do a food tour like this on every trip that we take. Eva was great with the kids and gave them lots of different options. I don’t eat pork or beef and so there were some substitutions for me and I really appreciated that. When alcohol was served. Also, there were options for the kids. I liked how small of a group the tour was it allowed us to chat with everybody and get to know the different groups of people. The end of the tour was rainy and it was cold during the tour, but that was nothing that anybody could’ve dealt with and Eva apologize profusely for the weather related incidents.
