Full description
With Lisbon street art culture now supported by the municipality through its Crono Project, the city is slowly becoming the urban art capital of Europe. As you’ll see on this 4-hour tour, the city’s streets are home to an impressive display of international works of art, with artists from far and wide gracing the back passages and river docks of suburban Lisbon with their unsung masterpieces. In the past you’d see rather boring all-white buildings, but now there is color bursting in almost every corner of the city. The street paintings you’ll come across during the tour are mostly a result of the Crono Project, which is a scheme that encourages artists to transform neglected buildings into true urban galleries.  Your guide will take you on a drive through Lisbon and the surrounding area, on a tour that’s well off the beaten track.

The tour gave us a good impression of the street art not only in the city centre but also in the suburbs. That's actually the main reason why i would recommend this tour. The (at least concering tourists) not crowded neighbourhoods of Lisbon connected with the habitants we've met gave us a better understanding of the differnt art works.

We were the first two tour participants of Manuelo since the lockdown. It was a bit special in the beginning, as special hygiene measures have to be observed here as well. But when we were able to start, the atmosphere was very quickly relaxed and easy. Our tour was really exciting and we passed very cool street art spots that we would never have been able to discover like this. Manuel was very friendly and also told us something about the history behind the artworks.
