    See Lisbon from a different perspective, from the comfort of a 15-meter full-equipped sailing yacht. Sip on Champagne and enjoy light snacks as you listen to your captain tell you interesting facts about the city and its famous landmarks.

    Meet at the marina where you’ll board the yacht Mara for your 2-hour sail, cruising up the river to take in spectacular views of the city. Once underway, Champagne will be served and your captain will tell you a bit of the history of Lisbon and its monuments. Beer and soft drinks are also available. If you like, you can try your hand at steering the yacht or sit back and relax on deck if you prefer. You’ll sail past many of Lisbon’s most famous sights, including the suspension bridge, the statue of Christ, and many others. With a maximum of 12 guests you’re guaranteed a very personalized tour. The Champagne will keep flowing throughout, and sweet and savoury hot snacks will be served during the cruise.

    Please search "Sailing with Nigel" on Google for directions to the Marina drop off point. Doca de Santo Amaro is the name of the marina. On arrival at the marina, walk past the bars and restaurants towards the suspension bridge and gate number 1 under the bridge is the meeting point. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. If you are arriving by taxi or Uber, the drop off point is "Sailing with Nigel" on Google maps.

    Nigel and crew are fab - attentive and friendly hosts/guides. I had never used get your guide before and this was an excellent first experience. Would definitely recommend this as something to do in Lisbon. We were very fortunate to have hardly anyone else book on so loads of space on the boat. Nigel made sure our glasses were always topped up, and provided warm snacks (croissant and pastel de nata), and explained what buildings and sights were when we passed them. Saw the sights from the water feeling relaxed...and nice and tipsy! Thanks for making our trip.

    We had an excellent time sailing! The other couple on our trip were very nice and we enjoyed getting to know them. It was fun to see the city from a different perspective in the water and our hosts could not have been more courteous or entertaining. Would highly recommend!

    Delightful all around - the crew were welcoming, accommodating and local and fun. Group size of 10 guests worked well. Great to meet people from Europe and US. Wine and a local snack a lovely touch. Pace and views were great. Monuments on shore. Crew was able to point out and discuss.
