- Take a boat tour through historical Lisbon on a classic wooden yacht
- Relax in comfort on a yacht that caters to small private groups
- Admire the city’s monuments, from Belem to Alfama
The yacht sails from Alcantara Harbor on this 2-hour historical cruise. At this point you’re just 5 minutes from the Museum of the Orient and the National Ancient Art Museum. Sail down the Tagus River to the Belem tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built in the 16th century to help defend Lisbon against pirate attacks.
In Belem you’ll see the Discoveries Monument, Hieronymites Monastery (another World Heritage Site), the Modern Art and Maritime museums, and more. Admire the old royal Ajuda Palace, situated on top of a hill.
You’ll then sail upriver to Alfama, passing by Bairro Alto, the Ribeira vegetable and fish market, Chiado, Ribeira das Naus, and Commerce Square. Take in stunning views of old Lisbon, including St. George's Castle on top of the hill, and Sé (Lisbon's cathedral), just behind.
Marvel at the colors of Alfama at sunset, which are the perfect ending for your tour.
