What to Expect
Enjoy the beautiful capital of Lisbon by visiting many of the main attractions. Following a pick-up from your hotel in Lisbon by an air-conditioned, 8-seat vehicle, drive to Eduardo VII Park, the largest park in central Lisbon and the best panoramic views. Learn about the devastating earthquakes in history of Portugal.

Be driven through the main avenue of Lisbon and the main square Rossio to visit Lisbon Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa), a Roman Catholic parish church, the oldest church in the city. Next, you'll visit the best viewpoint in Lisbon, offering a fantastic view of the neighborhood of Graca, St. George´s Castle, Baixa and the entire northern part of the city. En route to Belem, you will drive through the Bairro Alto district.

Stop at the famous factory of the Pastel de Belém, also known as Pastel de Nata. Here, you will get to taste a delicious pastry with cinnamon with traditional Portuguese coffee. After relaxing at Belem Pastry shop, visit the Monastery of Jeronimos, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the most impressive symbol of Portuguese power and wealth during the Age of Discoveries. See the tombs of Luis de Camoes and Vasco da Gama here. A little further on Tagus river from the water rises the Tower of Belem. Built in the early 16th century, it is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style of architecture.

At end of the tour, you will find out more about the Age of Discovery by stopping at the Monument to the Discoveries. It is located along the river where ships departed to explore and trade with India and Orient. The monument celebrates the Portuguese Age of Discovery or Age of Exploration during the 15th and 16th centuries. Before heading to your hotel, if there is enough time, you will cross the Tagus river by the 25 April Bridge, the 1st Bridge of Lisbon to see the city from a different angle.
