Full description
Start the class with an introduction to the history of Pastel de Nata (custard tarts) as well as the family-run bakery where the workshop takes place. Try a variety of pastries that the bakery is renowned for.
Afterwards, head to the kitchen to begin the class. Learn how to create the delicate pastry from your expert instructor. Make the custard from scratch and bake your creations inside a professional oven. Enjoy a collaborative team activity, rather than individual cooking stations. Create at least 3 tarts by hand, forming the dough and filling the custard inside the pastry. After the tarts are ready, enjoy the fruit of your labor with coffee, tea, or sour cherry liqueur.
