MAAT in Lisbon always has amazing contemporary art exhibitions and is a must visit for art lovers. This ticket gets you access to both gallery spaces where we could see 4 different exhibits in an afternoon, plus the historic powerhouse museum. Very cool! loved the William Klein exhibit

Discover the Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology's Gallery and Central with this entry ticket.

Located on the waterfront of the historic area of Belém in Lisbon, MAAT encompasses a thermal power station built in 1908 – MAAT Central – and a contemporary building – MAAT Gallery – connected by a garden that extends along the Tagus River – MAAT Garden. In addition to the schedule of temporary exhibitions and activities, the museum also includes permanent exhibitions, such as The Electricity Factory at the Central, or the sculptures in the outdoor spaces.

At MAAT Central, you'll delve into the fascinating history of electricity and witness the incredible process of transforming coal into electricity at this thermal power station. Meanwhile, MAAT Gallery, with its unconventional architecture, invites you to immerse yourself in national and international exhibitions featuring the contributions of contemporary artists, architects, and thinkers.

  • Two wheelchairs are available upon request at the ticket offices;
  • There are toilet facilities available for visitors with special needs;
  • Touching the exhibited items (unless otherwise noted), going beyond the safety areas, and taking pictures with the flash on is not allowed;
  • Please follow directions provided by security staff, tour guides, or other staff members.;
  • Children must always be accompanied by adults;
  • In case of an accident or unusual incident, please report it immediately to a member of the security staff;
