The tour starts in the morning in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, enjoying the views and splendid buildings around.
the amazing and historical city of Lisbon.
We will begin from Parque Eduardo VII, you will be able to admire the beautiful Monument, passing by the Praca Marques do Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade, Principe Real. We will stop to enjoy ourselves and see the amazing surroundings.
Then we will move to Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara. The panorama stretches from the walls of Castelo de São Jorge, the Lisbon Cathedral, and Igreja da Penha de França to the northwest. Also visible is the large complex of Igreja da Graça, São Vicente de Fora is recognizable by the symmetrical towers around the façadewhite. We will stop here so that you can be inspired by the panoramic view.
Our Next stop will be Praca Luis de Camoes, The monument to Camões is the oldest of its kind in Lisbon. We will stop here so that you have a look at the square from the inside and admire the craftsmanship of the craftsmen of the Statue and the view it provides.
On the way, you will have a marvelous view of different important places in this lovely city. Stopping and passing by various points like Cidade Baixa, Largo do Carmo, and Rossio Square.
Then you will visit Lisbon Cathedral, Often called Lisbon Cathedral or simply the Sé (Sé de Lisboa) is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Lisbon, Portugal. The oldest church in the city, it is the seat of the Patriarchate of Lisbon.
Also visit the nearby Church of Saint Anthony of Lisbon a Roman Catholic church located in Lisbon, Portugal. It is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Lisbon.
Then you will be taken to Castelo de S. Jorge The castle is in the center of Lisbon, on a hill, while many of its walls extend around the citadel into the civil parishes that surround it to the east and south. The castle, which is on top of the hill, you will enjoy the castle itself as well as the panoramic view it provides, you will be able to eat the Famous Pasteis de Queijo which has a cod fish and cheese filling, or also you can buy some souvenirs.
Then we will head towards our next destination Mosteiro dos Jeronimos. The Jerónimos Monastery or Hieronymites Monastery is a former monastery of the Order of Saint Jerome near the Tagus River in the parish of Belém. We will stop here to visit the Grand Monastery as well as the Main Chaple.
Visiting the charming castle, gardens, monastery, monuments, and sights, you are enchanted by the great history and culture of Portugal. Also, enjoy the local specialties, whether it is Pasteis de Belem or Ginjinha, lunch, or just coffee from a cafe shop.
Torre de Belem was classified in 1983 as a Unesco World Heritage Site and elected as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal in 2007. On the right bank of the River Tejo, where the beach of Belém once existed, it was originally surrounded by water around its entire perimeter.
Padrao dos Descobrimentos was erected in 1940 on the occasion of the Portuguese World Exhibition to honor the historical figures involved in Portuguese Discoveries.
Then we will move towards Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco) It was for a long time the noble entrance to Lisbon and, on the marble steps of Cais das Colunas, coming from the river, heads of state and other prominent figures disembarked and were received.
Our last stop will be The Alfama which is the oldest neighborhood of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tagus River. The 1755 Lisbon earthquake did not destroy the Alfama, which has remained a labyrinth of narrow streets and small squares. Lately, the neighborhood has been restored with the renovation of the old houses and new restaurants where Fado is sometimes played. We will stop here so that you can have a look around the neighborhood, and enjoy the culture and charm it has.
