Our guide was very thorough and thoughtful. Gave us time when we saw something that intrigued the group, noted uneven pavement etc. Very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and shared information enthusiastically. Would heartily recommend.
This tour is definitely a hidden gem, and I recommend everyone who sees this to definitely book it if they are still considering it. Firstly, our guide Andriy, was an excellent guide. Very friendly, and very informative. This tour not only lets you explore the important sites of Alfama, but also dwelves in its society's history, and lets you get a local's view point of the event's of older and recent history. We learned a lot about the historical sites, the structure of the society, explored hidden allyways (that we would definitely had overlooked on our own). This tour is a must!
