We had fantastic guides on our tour who provided an a lot of fascinating information about dolphins and seabirds. The tour itself was well worth the price. We spent three amazing hours on the open sea and were lucky to spot two different species of dolphins. Highly recommendable!

I get sea sick on boats which I did not struggle with at all while we were moving, but had a little bit of an issue while we were still. But our guides were so sweet, we were able to see sun fish, dolphins, whales and porpoises. Our tour went over time, after he checked in with everyone that that was okay, so that we were able to whale watch for longer. And we watched the sunset on the boat with some Portuguese wine that our guide had. They were also so knowledgeable about all of the animals and what they do not to disturb them. Amazing experience!

Full description

Depart from Lisbon's city center on a fast rigid inflatable boat. The crew and Marine biologist will make sure you have a safety briefing and debrief of the activity so you can enjoy the most of it. Once arriving at the ocean, get to know the wildlife more closely and learn about the species of dolphins and seabirds with a specialist onboard. Spend up to three hours venturing in the ocean to watch for dolphins and find other marine species like sea fish, sharks, jellyfish, or even sea-turtles. The more species we find, the more exciting the activiy will be. We always make sure the safety and comfortable ocean conditions are met so you can enjoy the experience. Before heading back, you will see the beautiful monuments seen from the river, Monuments for the Discoveries, the Jerónimos Monastery, and the Tower of Belém. This activity can only be done in certified and licenced boat companies to Observe Cetacean in their natural habitat.
