It's important to know what you'll be doing before getting one of these. For us it would have been far cheaper to just buy travel cards daily, as we spent almost twice as much on this as we would have done just buying cards! If you are going to be visiting a lot of attractions AND travelling on public transport a lot, it's definitely worth it.

I bought this mainly for the unlimited public transportation (including the trollies and the Saint Justa lift.) I was only in Lisbon for a day, and I arrived at 6AM. This was a bit too early, as the Visit Lisbon offices open at 10AM. You have to refer to their website to see what the card grants you access to, or take a picture of the list on the desk. This was a downside for me because I hadn't totally planned ahead and would need my phone battery to last through the day, and I didn't want to be going online to look things up. Otherwise, I thought this was great.

Collected our city passes early and there was no hassle! Loads of information centres around Commerce, Rossio and Peters square! Took the metro and train to Sintra and it was so handy. Transport is so good over there, buses arrive every 15 mins. Also, free entry into museums was great. Would highly recommend getting this city pass.
