If you really like food, like knowing what you are eating and wonder how the meal fits into the history of the place then these tours are for you. The bonus is that the tour is usually in areas of town that you would not necessarily find on your own.

I’m so happy I booked this tour. This was my favorite experience in Lisbon and a great way to see art and see the city outside the main tourist area. Rui was so knowledgeable about the art and history of the city, you can tell he enjoys giving this tour. I was worried about it being 3 hours but it ended up being the perfect amount of time and mostly walking downhill. Highly recommend taking this tour!

Of our entire 2 week holiday, this tour was our favorite experience. We found most tour guides fill time with jokes and socializing—but not Rui—who is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Lisbon, the street art "scene", it's players and artists, the evolution of the form. If other tours have more reviews, I can only imagine it's because their tours accommodate 10-12 people or more, whereas Rui maintains a small and nimble group of 6—which created cohesion among our fellow tourists and a great spirit of inquiry and conversation. Very very highly recommended.
