Pedro our guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. He really brought the trip alive with his knowledge of Sintra and its history. One point to note is that you have to be fairly fit to climb Sintra. We walked 15,000 steps on the tour and it’s important that you carry drinks during the trip.

We took this trip mainly because of the rail strike and had no other way to travel on our own to Sintra. The guide was good with the exception of not keeping people together and a lot of time being wasted...for example losing 45 minutes because 2 people had wandered from the group and they had to go searching for them.

Ana is hands down the best guide we've had during our time in Lisbon and Portugal. She has an incredible amount of knowledge of the history of the area. We learned a lot and enjoyed amazing views of Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. We enjoyed a sunny and not very crowded visit to the Palace. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much, Ana!
