Explore the beautiful landscapes of the Portuguese south-west coast on this private day tour. You will see breathtaking landscapes and sample exquisite gastronomy in the Alentejo region.
What to Expect
Your tour will begin around 08:30, when you will be picked up from your accommodation or ship. As this is a private tour, your itinerary is flexible and you can choose which places you would most like to see, in discussion with your driver. You will start by heading south by the Iron Bridge towards Comporta beach, in the Troia region (a one-hour drive).
Next, head further south to Melides, Santo André, Sines (the birthplace of Vasco da Gama), Porto Covo, Milfontes and Zambujeira do Mar, where you will stop for lunch at one of the many seafood restaurants in the area. After lunch, proceed through the protected area of the south-west coast to Odiceixe. On the return journey, there will be time for a short visit to São Teotónio, a traditional village in Alentejo, and Odemira, before returning to Lisbon by 18:00.
