Full description
Taking a pilgrimage to Fátima is an event of a lifetime. Here, in 1917, 3 children were blessed with the apparition of the Virgin Mary, and today you can visit this astonishing Basilica built in her honor.

During your tour, your guide will help point out the most important points of interest. The newest church in this complex, the Most Holy Trinity (2007) is one of the largest Christian churches in the world, and well worth the time to visit. You will also have the chance to spend time in other holy sites of the region, including Nazaré. Here you can relax a bit with its beautiful beaches and lovely cuisine.

After a stop for lunch, head to Batalha monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These monuments are incredibly well preserved, given their nearly 600 years of life. They are wonders to experience, and make for some wonderful photo opportunities.

Finally, end in Óbidos, the beautiful and ancient Medieval village in the hills of Portugal. Walk along the fortified walls and enjoy the typical drink of the region - Ginja served in a chocolate cup!

After your tour you will be dropped off at one of two locations in central Lisbon, either Restauradores or Marquês de Pombal.

Please note, this tour is available only on Mondays and Fridays.
