Our journey to the castle was difficult due to there being a street race in Lisbon which blocked all the roads so our taxi had to go a longer route. I was worried I wouldn't make my time slot for my ticket but Syad, my guide was brilliant. He has already contacted me and emailed me my tickets and was really supportive with me running late when I texted him. I did actually make it on time and he helped me again when I wasn't sure where to go with the skip the queue ticket. The castle itself if bigger than I thought and quite beautiful with stunning views. It's a ruin so not really anything there to do, it's a visual experience but one I really enjoyed. I'm glad I paid a little bit more for the skip the queue ticket as it was busy and the line to get in was very long. I'm also glad we took a taxi as I never would have made it up the hill from the town. We walked back down and it's steep going. Definitely recommend both the app and the place.

We walked up the steep hill for the castle to see a long line of people waiting for general admission. Instead of getting in the line, I was able to quickly buy skip the line tickets and get into the excursion fast. !!!You must have WhatsApp to proceed!!!! I called for help through GetYourGuide because I couldn’t get into the venue. I was able to get help right away and then we had to walk to meet someone further from the entrance was. He sent our tickets and waited for us to get inside. It’s a beautiful site and lots of great history. You’re provided with a map and it’s worth the price. Also worth skipping the line
