Great day trip! The island preserve is beautiful. Our guide Angela was terrific. She arrived to pick us up exactly on time. She was informative. She took us to some local places which we greatly appreciated. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It is a little expensive but worth it for the comfort and convenience.

Full description

Start your adventure at your chosen pickup location in Lisbon. Your guide will be there to welcome you in the morning. After your pickup, your day will commence with a rip to Peniche along the infamous West Coast. Marvel at a location that caresses the Atlantic Ocean, with beautiful beaches and a very dynamic agricultural and fishing community.

Arrive at Farol da Berlenga and relax as you enjoy a 40-minute boat trip to one of the most precious islands of Portugal - Berlenga. Berlenga Grande is the largest island of the Berlengas archipelago. The caves cross the whole island, being the biggest one the Furado Grande. Enjoy free time on the island.

Take a walk back to the port along the authorised paths of the nature reserve, admiring the amazing views in this UNESCO Biosphere Heritage Site. On your return journey you will visit Óbidos. Marvel at this beautiful location and take some truly stunning photos of the beautiful walls full of history. This charming hamlet of white houses is enclosed in 14th century walls.

Finish your day of exploration with a relaxing transfer back to your hotel.

We had a fabulous time on this day trip from Lisbon to Berlenga Island and Obidos! Both were beautiful with lots of history! Weather could not have been better (mid-late October). We were picked up in a van with plenty of room for 4 adults. Our guide, Adriano, was wonderful! His communication was timely and professional. He provided helpful info, made sure we stopped for coffee to start the day, and was flexible with our schedule.
