Visit Portugal's largest stadium, Estádio da Luz, home to S.L. Benfica, and explore the exhilarating history at the Cosme Damião museum. With the capacity to accommodate over 65,400 spectators, the stadium is mostly used for football (soccer) matches.
What to Expect
You'll be picked up at your hotel in Lisbon at either 09:00 or 14:30, and transported to Estádio da Luz. While at the stadium, you'll explore the executive seats, locker room, press conference room and the Benfica megastore, where you'll be able to purchase authentic Benfica merchandise.
One of the best parts of the tour is the opportunity to walk onto the great lawn and get a first-hand look of what it's like to play on the field. After exploring the stadium, you'll make your way toward the museum. Decked out with over 20,000 documents, images and relics dedicated to the history of Benfica, the museum was recognized as the best Portuguese museum of 2014.
Throughout the tour you'll be accompanied by a guide who will explain the history and share fun facts about the stadium and museum in both Portuguese and English. After the tour you will be returned to your hotel.
