Beautiful
The monastery just from the outside was stunning to look at, but the real beauty was hidden on the inside grounds, a truly beautifully constructed monastery with contemporary wonderful architecture for its period. A must see whilst in Lisbon. We had to Que around an hour (we went in June at 10:30am). I had already looked up so knew queuing times can be long so it didn’t bother me much. There will be some street pedlars trying to sell u hats and trinkets whilst you’re queuing but they aren’t overpowering in their approach but more fun to barter with. Overall it’s a stunning wonderful marvel of architecture and definitely worth visiting. One point to note there will be 2 ques and the Que on the left is the one for the monastery and the one on the right is for a church right next to the monastery so make sure you’re in the right Que. Loved it
