Amazing, must-do tour to see the other side of Lima.

I was the only one who signed up for the tour, so I essentially had a private tour. It was excellent, eye-opening, and humbling. You visit the local markets and get to try foods you never have before, and you get to interact with locals and get to know their way of life. Definitely recommend.

A learning experience in a safe environment.

I discovered facts about Lima and Peru in general during this tour. Nathaly, our guide is knowledgeable about important backgrounds of how social and economic problems came about, specially in Lima. I appreciated people who allowed us and interacted with us in a more personal level. I highly recommed this trip.

Don't miss this!!!

This is a must! You can miss all other tours but this one is the best. You get to see how people live in Lima. I met the kids in the daycare whose mom and dad are hard working. Also this tour is through Haku Tour which is a non-for-profit organization that serves the needies of Lima. Now I have a reason to go back to Peru and also not only travel but travel with a cause!!!
