The tour was full of delicious, authentic foods and he took us to places we never would have went on our own. He answered every question we had about food or history and knew a story about all areas of the city of Lima. The tour was genuine, authentic and delicious!! A must do when visiting Lima.

Full description

Surquillo Market We will go to the local market located in the Surquillo district (near Miraflores) where you will see all the different fresh and organic products that Peru has, such as vegetables, tubers, meats and more. Next, you will try the famous Ceviche (Peru’s national dish) and a traditional Chicha Morada drink at a local restaurant. Chorrillos District Then, we will visit the main Fish Market of Lima to learn about the fishing industry in Peru. Also, your local guide will show you the tools and baits used by locals for doing this important activity. Great opportunity to meet the local people. Barranco district In Barranco area you will see the artistic streets and learn the history of this trendy place from your expert guide. Also, here we eat some typical dish (Causa Rellena – potatoes dish with chicken) and typical dessert (Picarones) at a nice restaurant. Learn about the food fusions among different cultures mixed with the Peruvian one!
